M&A Operations Analyst

As our M&A Operations Analyst, you will support the acquisition of dental practices across select regions in the US. You will provide operational and qualitative and quantitative analyses supporting due diligence that enables the company to make prudent dental practices acquisition decisions. You will also help drive the due diligence process, including tracking and managing diligence requests and responses and assisting potential partners with pulling information from their practice management systems. The role will prepare and support due diligence and other outputs for senior management and the Board.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluates operational diligence findings for potential acquisition targets based

• Assists potential partners in delivering requested reports from their practice management systems

• Prepares dashboards of operational information related to potential acquisition targets based on diligence

• Tracks and manages diligence requests and responses

• Prepares update materials and other outputs for potential partners, senior management and the Board

• Coordinates with internal and external teams during transaction due diligence

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience in running dental practices; including RCM and practice management systems in multi-state environments

• Must possess intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a fast-paced, meritocratic organization

• Strong quantitative acumen with a firm understanding of financial modeling and related analysis

• Ability to navigate and document findings and issues within financial statements and due diligence responses

• Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements

• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and presentation skills

• Ability to demonstrate understanding of Dental Office Operations, including HR and Finance

• Ability to demonstrate Project management, detail orientation, and multitasking skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, risks, and alternative options

• Self-starter, highly motivated, and prepared to undertake all projects with a sense of urgency and work in a self-directed manner
