Sales Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Operations Manager will support the growth of the Imagen partnership through analytical leadership, metrics-based management and execution to the Development team. The Director
will track and analyze lead generation by source or strategy, manage to report of pipeline statistics, and execute development strategies and tactics.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Builds and maintains tracking tool (CRM or other) for incoming leads by source
· Uses tracking tool to monitor prospects through the pipeline, with emphasis on conversion rates and cycle times
· Identifies highest-yield lead sources, strategies, and tactics
· Provides tactical instruction to Business Development team and other resources based on playbooks and agreed-upon strategies and tactics
· Maintains development calendar with events and touch-points for Development team, Imagen leadership and other resources
· Coordinates virtual and in-person touchpoints and events with prospects during the sales cycle
· Works collaboratively with marketing to ensure support of lead-generation and prospect engagement tactics
· Assists Development team in identifying and cataloging potential and actual objections
· Drives enhancements to lead-generation sources, strategies, and tactics
· Tracks and organizes expired leads to ensure effective re-engagement strategy
· Helps build benchmarking and KPI monitoring for tracking purposes toward departmental goals

 

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
· 7-10 years of professional experience in B2B sales, sales operations, marketing, commercial analysis, or similar roles
· Executive presence: Must be a mature thought partner for senior executives and transaction counter-parties
· Must possess intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a fast-paced, meritocratic organization
· Strong quantitative acumen
· Ability to manage CRM or similar software and direct other users
· Strong analysis, organization and presentation skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, risks and alternative options
· Self-starter, highly motivated and prepared to undertake all projects with a sense of urgency and work in a self-directed manner
