Marla Smith

Marla Smith serves as the Director of Business Development at Imagen Dental Partners. She is responsible for partnering with technology-driven dentists across the United States to support clinical excellence, enhance practice performance, and build long-term value for owners and their teams.

With over 20 years of experience in the dental industry, Smith brings a deep understanding of practice operations, business growth, and strategic transitions. She began her career as a dental office manager, where she discovered her passion for helping dentists implement systems that improve efficiency and patient care.

Prior to joining Imagen, Smith held leadership roles in dental Private Equity, guiding dentists through integration and M&A processes. She has led teams that partnered with hundreds of practices, always focused on preserving legacy and ensuring long-term success. Her work has also taken her internationally, supporting the dental community in the Middle East with critical equipment and supply solutions.

Smith is known for her thoughtful, people-first approach and her ability to build meaningful relationships with practice owners. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
