Dr. Chu earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa in 1993, following her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She completed a General Practice Residency at Hines VA Hospital in Illinois, where she treated medically complex cases and honed her clinical expertise.
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Chu provides a wide range of services, including sealants, tooth-colored fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, implant restorations, extractions, and root canal therapy. She is known for her gentle touch, deep integrity, and dedication to treating every patient with respect and compassion.
Beyond the operatory, Dr. Chu is a dedicated mentor and advocate for professional development. She partners with the Elgin Community College Dental Assisting Program to support students completing clinical hours, and she currently serves as treasurer for the Chicago Academy of Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy (CAIDT) Study Club. She is also an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Chu is a recipient of the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and clinical excellence.
